2025, a season that will go down in history at BCC, as the first team took home, not one, not two but three trophies. Yes, that is all the trophies in the Derbyshire and Cheshire Cricket League that it's possible to win. Lead by skipper Dom Perrin, we romped home in the Bissenden Final against Hazel Grove, conquered Dinting in the T20 final and took a final day league decider against Dove Holes, topping the table for just one day in the whole season, but the one that mattered. With the under 19's winning their 'Hundred' tournament their is no doubt that the future is bright at Broadbottom.
But its not just on the pitch that has been a success, with more people than ever before visiting the club, a vibrant social scene, great sponsors with Picow (club) and Lymefield Garden Centre (junior) and a thriving junior and women's set-up all managed by a cracking team of volunteers. Jon and Tony are getting the ground in winter mode now ready to kick-off again in April.
Why not come along and join us next season. We can't promise another treble, but we'll give it a good go, and we'll have a lot of fun trying.
